About The Studio

Owned and operated by drummer Travis Whitmore, SilverLake Studio is a collaboration-oriented, home project studio. The studio was created to be able to offer custom, online drum and percussion tracks to musicians and songwriters from around the world. Based in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, it’s also a place of music creativity open to anyone who wants to create and record music, without the overhead of traditional studios. In addition to recording services, the studio blog exists to provide fresh perspectives and resources for musicians, fellow drummers and recording enthusiasts.

Who is Travis Whitmore?

Travis is an experienced session and touring drummer. Whether live or in the studio, he has had the opportunity to record and play with many world-renown musicians. Some of these opportunities include recording with Nashville producer Mark Miller and Sawyer Brown as well as spending time on the road, touring North America professionally with recording artist Matt Brouwer.
